Square gyratory screen, also known as square swing screen or square rotary screen, is a vibrating screen used to separate materials according to their particle size. It consists of a rectangular frame and a square mesh screen. Square rotating screens operate by a swivel motion produced by a fixed upper weight mounted on the frame and a rotating lower weight attached to the motor shaft. As the motor rotates, the weight creates a rotary motion, causing the material on the screen to follow a circular or elliptical path. This movement helps to evenly distribute the material on the screen and enables efficient screening of particles.
